Set in wartime Berlin between 1939 and 1942, The Red Orchestra in Blue reimagines the true story of Harro and Libertas Schulze-Boysen and their circle of artists, writers, and insiders who risked everything to defy Hitler’s regime. Dubbed The Red Orchestra by the Gestapo, their bravery and vision resonate powerfully in today’s world.
This special launch evening will include:
• A keynote address by Christian Resch
• Reflections from the author
• Remarks from the publisher
• Dramatic readings from the novel by acclaimed actors David Herlihy and Maria Tecce, including a live performance of a song from the book
The event marks the upcoming official publication of The Red Orchestra in Blue on May 8th, 2025, commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
